The 2025 Saltiga 35 is the standard-gear powerhouse of the series, delivering uncompromising torque for heavy jigging and big fish encounters. Designed with Daiwas cutting-edge technology, its the reel you want when brute strength and durability are non-negotiable.

Torque-Focused Performance

• Gear Ratio 5.1:1 retrieves 104cm of line per turn, prioritising winding power for lifting heavy jigs and controlling fish early in the fight.
• Hyperdrive Design combines Hyperdrive Digigear, double pinion support, a rigid aluminium frame, and salt-resistant clutch for long-lasting smoothness and power.
• UTD Drag System delivers up to 13kg of smooth, consistent stopping power to control brutal runs.

Offshore Capability

• 65mm large spool with deep capacity (PE3/600m, PE4/500m, PE6/300m) built for deep jigging and targeting tuna or kingfish.
• Thumb-holding frame & 105mm T-shaped power knob enhance comfort and control during long sessions.
• Spool lock mechanism protects gears and bearings while cutting snagged line safely.

Durable by Design

• Anode protection extends reel life by resisting corrosion.
• Full aluminium housing ensures rigidity and precision under load.
• Magsealed ball bearing shields against saltwater intrusion at the reels most vulnerable point.

This standard gear model features a powerful 5.1 gear ratio, delivering a line retrieval of 104 cm per handle rotationideal for bait jigging applications. It excels in high-load scenarios where retrieval torque is critical, such as targeting large yellowfin tuna where every fight becomes a fierce battle, hooking massive bottom fish where the first crank after the hit can determine the outcome, or recovering heavy jigs from deep water and fishing under drifting conditions (doterra-style).
